Tras más de siete semanas liderando la tabla de Hijos de Babel, Costel Busuic dio el salto definitivo en la octava y última gala del concurso para ser elegido por público y jurado como el mejor cantante extranjero afincado en España.

El que ya ha sido apodado por algunos medios como el "Pavarotti de Rumanía" se impuso con 44 puntos a Beatriz que terminó segunda con 40 puntos y Yusmanis & Ricardo que consiguieron 42.

Gracias a su talento, sacrificio y entrega, Costel podrá abandonar el trabajo de albañil que le trajo hasta España y así empezar una nueva carrera musical de la mano de Sony BMG.

Además del contrato con Sony BMG, el ministro rumano de Cultura, Adrian Iorgulescu, le ha ofreció a Costel una beca de estudios en la Universidad Nacional de Música de Bucarest para que pueda perfeccionar su técnica en el arte lírico.

Finalmente, por el simple hecho de haber llegado tan lejos en el concurso, los tres finalistas verán como el programa desarrolla tareas humanitarias en sus países de origen.
